SweetChat User Agreement

Welcome to the SweetChat app (hereinafter referred to as "SweetChat", "we", "us", or "our"). Please (hereinafter referred to as "User") read the following terms carefully, especially those regarding disclaimer or limitation of liability, which will be highlighted in bold. If you disagree with any term of this Agreement, you may choose not to use SweetChat. By successfully registering and accessing SweetChat — whether browsing the app or posting any content on SweetChat ("Content") — you (the "User") acknowledge and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

This Agreement applies to all SweetChat software services, including any services you use and any software upgrades or updates during its term. We may revise this Agreement from time to time due to changes in applicable laws and regulations, business strategy adjustments, software upgrades, or other reasons. Once the updated terms are published, they immediately supersede the previous version. You may check the latest version at any time within the software. If you do not agree to any modification, you may immediately stop using the software and services. Your continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If you are under 18 years of age, we recommend that you have your parent or legal guardian read this Agreement carefully and that you only use our products and/or services or provide us with information with your guardian's consent.

1. Services and Scope

1.1 SweetChat is a mobile keyboard app designed to help users improve their language expression and communication skills. You can access communication tips for dating and social interactions, optimize your wording, and more.

1.2 Service Forms

1) To use this service, you need to download the SweetChat client software. SweetChat is available in multiple versions, including but not limited to iOS and Android. You must select the version that matches your device.

2) Any direct or indirect use of SweetChat services and data — whether through RSS feeds, external API references, or other means — will be deemed unconditional acceptance of all terms of this Agreement. If you disagree with any term, please stop using all services provided by SweetChat.

3) Upon successful registration, SweetChat will provide you with an account and corresponding password, which you are responsible for safeguarding. You are legally responsible for all activities and events that occur under your account.

1.3 You are solely responsible for the truthfulness, legality, and validity of the registration information you provide on SweetChat. You may not impersonate any other person. Otherwise, SweetChat has the right to immediately suspend services and reclaim your account, and you shall bear all legal consequences arising therefrom.

2. Software Acquisition, Installation, Uninstallation, and Updates

2.1 Software Acquisition

1) You may download SweetChat directly from the official SweetChat website or from third parties authorized by SweetChat.

2) If you obtain SweetChat or an installer with the same name from an unauthorized third party, SweetChat cannot guarantee that the software will function properly and shall not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.

2.2 Software Installation and Uninstallation

1) SweetChat may offer different software versions for different devices. You should select and download the version appropriate for your device.

2) After downloading the installer, follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

3) To provide a better and more secure experience, SweetChat may recommend installing additional software during setup. You may choose to install it or not.

4) If you no longer need the software or need to install a newer version, you may uninstall it at any time. If you would like to help us improve, please let us know why you are uninstalling.

2.3 Software Updates

1) To improve user experience and enhance our services, SweetChat will continuously develop new features and provide software updates from time to time, which may include software replacement, modification, feature enhancements, or version upgrades.

2) To ensure the security and consistency of the software and services, we may update the software or change or limit certain features.

3) Once a new version is released, older versions may become unusable. We cannot guarantee that older versions will remain available or continue to receive customer support. Please check for and download the latest version regularly.

4) You may stop using our services at any time, though we would be sorry to see you go. SweetChat may also suspend services or add new restrictions at any time.

3. User Conduct and Guidelines

3.1 Account Registration

To use any SweetChat service, you must log in with a SweetChat account. During registration, you must agree to the terms of the SweetChat User Agreement and the SweetChat Privacy Policy, and complete the registration process as prompted. Upon successful registration, SweetChat will provide you with an account and corresponding password, which you are responsible for safeguarding. You may also log in using your phone number and SMS verification code — please keep your verification codes secure. You are legally responsible for all activities and events that occur under your account.

3.2 Software Usage Rules

1) You warrant that you shall not, directly or indirectly:

(1) Remove, obscure, or alter any patent, copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice displayed on or contained within SweetChat software or services;

(2) Interfere with or attempt to interfere with the normal operation of SweetChat software, services, or any part of the SweetChat website;

(3) Circumvent, attempt to circumvent, or claim to be able to circumvent any content protection mechanism or data measurement tool used by SweetChat;

(4) Use any registered or unregistered trademark, service mark, logo, URL, or other identifier of SweetChat in written or graphic form without prior written consent from SweetChat;

(5) Use any SweetChat marks in a manner that dilutes, tarnishes, or harms the rights of their owners, or purport to create any obligation or grant any right or authority in violation of this Agreement. Unless expressly authorized in writing by SweetChat, you may not export any user information, and you must cease using and delete any user information or other SweetChat content within 24 hours of obtaining it;

(6) Display or otherwise provide any user information to any non-original user without the prior consent of the original user;

(7) Request, collect, solicit, or otherwise obtain access to any user's account credentials, passwords, or other authentication information;

(8) Automatically log into any user's account or proxy authentication credentials;

(9) Impersonate any person or gain unauthorized access to SweetChat software or services, or allow any other person to personally identify a user without that user's explicit consent;

(10) Without the written permission of SweetChat, no user or third party may, nor may they authorize, allow, or assist others to, engage in the following activities with respect to the content of SweetChat software and related services:

  1. Copy, read, or use content from SweetChat software and related services for commercial purposes, including but not limited to promotion, increasing readership, or page views;
  1. Edit, compile, or arrange content from SweetChat software and related services and display it outside the original source page without authorization;
  1. Use any form of identification method (including but not limited to special identifiers or codes) to direct, divert, or hijack traffic or readership from SweetChat software and related services, whether independently or by assisting a third party;
  1. Engage in any other illegal acquisition or use of content from SweetChat software and related services.

(11) Without the written permission of SweetChat, no user or third party may, directly or indirectly, steal content (including but not limited to videos, images, and text) from SweetChat software and related services through any means (including but not limited to hotlinking, redundant capture, illegal scraping, simulated downloading, deep linking, or假冒 registration), nor may they delete or alter the rights management information of such content by any means (including but not limited to hiding or modifying domain names, platform-specific identifiers, or usernames).

(12) After obtaining written permission from SweetChat, any sharing or forwarding of content from SweetChat software and related services must also comply with the following rules:

  1. Without prior written consent from SweetChat, any data obtained through crawling, statistics, or analysis — including but not limited to search terms, hit rates, categories, search volume, click-through rates, and readership — may not be disclosed, provided, or leaked to any third party in any form;
  1. You may not modify the source pages of SweetChat software and related services in any way, including but not limited to altering entry points such as homepage links or advertising system links, nor may you obstruct the display of source pages through遮挡, inserts, pop-ups, or other means;
  1. You must adopt secure, effective, and rigorous measures to prevent third parties from illegally obtaining content from SweetChat software and related services through any means, including but not limited to spider programs;
  1. You may not use any related data for purposes beyond the scope authorized in writing by SweetChat, including any form of sale or commercial use, nor may you disclose or provide such data to any third party or allow any third party to use it in any manner.

(13) If you violate any of the above warranties, SweetChat has the right to warn, block, or even disqualify you depending on the severity of the violation. If your violation causes loss to SweetChat, its users, or any of its partners, you shall bear all legal liability and compensate for all losses.

2) You agree that:

(1) You shall not use this network service system for any unlawful purpose; you shall not use SweetChat network services to infringe upon SweetChat's commercial interests in any form, including but not limited to posting unauthorized commercial advertisements; you shall not use SweetChat network services to engage in any activity that may adversely affect the normal operation of the internet or mobile networks;

(2) You shall not use SweetChat services to engage in the following activities:

  1. Enter a computer information network or use computer information network resources without authorization;
  1. Delete, modify, or add computer information network functions without authorization;
  1. Delete, modify, or add data or applications stored, processed, or transmitted in a computer information network without authorization;
  1. Intentionally create or spread computer viruses or other destructive programs;
  1. Other activities that endanger computer information network security.

3.3 User Guidelines

1) You understand and agree that SweetChat has the right, in its sole discretion, to penalize violations of applicable laws or this Agreement, take appropriate legal action against any user who violates laws or regulations, and preserve relevant information for reporting to authorities in accordance with applicable laws. You shall bear all legal consequences arising from such violations.

2) You understand and agree that if you violate this Agreement or any related terms of service, resulting in any third-party claims, demands, or losses, you shall be solely responsible. If SweetChat suffers any losses as a result, you shall fully compensate SweetChat.

3) You understand and agree that to provide you with effective service, this software may utilize your device's processor and bandwidth resources. Using this software may incur data traffic charges. You are responsible for checking with your carrier for applicable rates and paying any such charges.

4) When using a specific feature of this software, you may be subject to a separate agreement or business rules (collectively, "Separate Agreement"). Please read and agree to the relevant Separate Agreement or business rules before using such features. Your use of such features constitutes acceptance of the Separate Agreement or business rules.

5) When using this software and services, you assume the following risks that are beyond SweetChat's control, including but not limited to:

(1) Risk of personal information loss or disclosure due to force majeure events;

(2) You must select the software version that matches your device. Any problems or damage caused by a mismatch between the software and your device model shall be borne by you;

(3) When accessing third-party websites through this software, any risks arising from such third-party websites or their content shall be borne by you;

(4) Risks such as login failure, incomplete data synchronization, or slow page loading caused by unstable wireless network signals or insufficient wireless network bandwidth.

6) Third-Party Products and Services

(1) When using third-party products or services within this software, please comply with the third party's user agreement. SweetChat shall not be liable for any disputes arising between you and third-party products or services.

(2) When you use this software or request SweetChat to provide specific services, this software may call upon third-party systems or rely on third-party support for your use or access. The results of such use or access are provided by the third party (including but not limited to content accessed through third-party integration within your personal account). SweetChat does not guarantee the safety, accuracy, validity, or other aspects of third-party services or content, nor does it assume any responsibility for any disputes or damages arising therefrom.

(3) You understand and agree that SweetChat has the right to use this software for commercial purposes, including but not limited to developing or using parts of this service to promote third parties. However, this does not mean SweetChat assumes any legal responsibility for third-party products or services. SweetChat commits to protecting your personal information during such promotions in accordance with this Agreement. You may also choose to block or decline relevant promotional communications through your system settings.

4. Protection of Personal Information

4.1 Protecting user personal information is a fundamental principle of SweetChat. We will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Except as required by applicable laws, SweetChat will not disclose or reveal your personal information to any third party without your permission. The SweetChat Privacy Policy describes how SweetChat collects and uses your personal information when you use our services. By using SweetChat's services, you agree that SweetChat may collect and use your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy. SweetChat uses professional encryption for storage and transmission to ensure the security of your personal information.

4.2 When applying for this service, you will need to provide certain necessary information. Please keep this information truthful, accurate, lawful, valid, and up to date so that SweetChat can provide you with timely and effective assistance. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, please provide your true identity information. If the information you provide is incomplete or inaccurate, you may be unable to use this service or may experience restrictions during use.

4.3 In general, you may browse and modify the information you have submitted at any time. However, for security and identity verification purposes (e.g., account recovery), you may not be able to modify the initial registration information or other verification information.

4.4 SweetChat will employ various security technologies and procedures, and establish comprehensive management systems, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

4.5 Without your consent, SweetChat will not disclose your personal information to any company, organization, or individual outside of SweetChat, except as otherwise required by applicable laws.

4.6 SweetChat places great importance on protecting the personal information of minors. If you are under 18 years of age, you should obtain prior written consent from your parent or legal guardian before using SweetChat's services.

4.7 You shall respect the personal information of any person you learn about, receive, or come into contact with through this service, including but not limited to other users. You shall not collect, copy, store, disseminate, or otherwise use other users' personal information in any way. Any consequences arising from such actions shall be borne by you.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

SweetChat is a content aggregation platform. We respect and encourage our users and are committed to protecting intellectual property rights as one of the fundamental principles of SweetChat's operations.

5.1 SweetChat retains full and indivisible ownership and intellectual property rights over the following content and information:

(1) SweetChat software services and all elements thereof, including but not limited to all content, data, technology, software, code, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, and other commercial identifiers, as well as any derivative works;

(2) Any information and feedback provided by users to SweetChat software services in connection with such services.

5.2 Without the consent of SweetChat, the above materials may not be directly or indirectly published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed in any media, nor used for any other commercial purposes. Such materials, or any part thereof, may only be stored on a single computer for personal, non-commercial use. SweetChat shall not be liable to any user or third party for any damages arising from delays, inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the transmission or delivery of such materials, whether in whole or in part.

5.3 All rights to any software used by SweetChat to provide network services (including but not limited to any images, photos, and additional programs contained in the software) belong to the copyright holder. Without the permission of the copyright holder, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of such software, or engage in any other act that may infringe copyright.

5.4 You understand and agree that any sharing, forwarding, or copying of SweetChat platform content to third parties must comply with the rules and standards established by the SweetChat platform, including but not limited to displaying the original link to such information or content and ensuring that any functions attached to such information or content remain operational.

5.5 Any unauthorized acquisition of content without the written consent of SweetChat or the rights holder is illegal and infringing. You acknowledge and agree that, to promptly and effectively protect your lawful rights and interests under this service (including but not limited to rights of information network dissemination and copyright), you specifically authorize SweetChat to take legal action in its own name or through a professional third-party agent against suspected infringing third parties when SweetChat discovers that your lawful rights and interests may be infringed. Such authorized actions include but are not limited to infringement monitoring, cease-and-desist letters, administrative complaints, litigation, arbitration, referral to investigative authorities, mediation, and settlement. Please note that the above authorization does not imply any profit-sharing arrangement between you and SweetChat.

5.6 The intellectual property rights of all content included in this service are protected by law. Without the written permission of SweetChat, the user, or the relevant rights holder, no one may use or create derivative works in any form.

6. Terms for Minors

6.1 If you are under 18 years of age, you must carefully read and agree to this Agreement under the supervision and guidance of, and with the consent of, your parent or legal guardian before using SweetChat software and related services.

6.2 SweetChat takes the protection of minors' personal information seriously. When filling in personal information, minor users should exercise caution, strengthen their自我保护意识, and use SweetChat software and related services properly under the guidance of, and with the consent of, their guardian.

6.3 Minor users and their guardians understand and agree that if the minor violates applicable laws or the terms of this Agreement, the minor and their guardian shall bear all legal consequences arising therefrom in accordance with the law.

6.4 Important Notice for Minor Users

(1) Minors using SweetChat software and related services should do so under the supervision and guidance of their guardian, learning to use the internet properly and within reasonable limits, avoiding addiction to virtual spaces, and developing healthy internet habits.

(2) Young users must comply with the National Youth Internet Civilization Convention:

A. Be good at online learning and avoid browsing harmful information;

B. Communicate honestly and friendly, and do not insult or deceive others;

C. Enhance self-protection awareness and do not meet strangers from the internet casually;

D. Maintain network security and do not disrupt network order;

E. Benefit physical and mental health and do not indulge in virtual spaces;

(3) To better protect the privacy rights of minors, SweetChat reminds you to exercise caution when posting content that includes minors. By posting such content, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of the rights holder to display the minor's image, voice, or other information on SweetChat software and related services, and that you permit SweetChat to use and process such minor-related content in accordance with this Agreement.

6.5 Notice for Guardians. If your child uses SweetChat software and related services, you, as the guardian, should guide and supervise their registration and use. If your child applies to register a SweetChat account, SweetChat shall be entitled to assume that your consent has been obtained.

7. Disclaimer

7.1 Given the special nature of network services, you agree that SweetChat may change, interrupt, or terminate part or all of its network services at any time. If such changes, interruptions, or terminations involve free network services, SweetChat is not required to notify users and shall not be liable to any user or third party.

7.2 You understand that SweetChat software services require periodic or occasional maintenance of the platform or related equipment. If such maintenance results in an interruption of paid network services within a reasonable time frame, SweetChat shall not be liable, but SweetChat will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

7.3 SweetChat may modify this service or remove any part of its functionality at any time for any reason. SweetChat may cancel or terminate its service to you at any time without providing a reason or notice. Once service is cancelled, your right to use this service immediately terminates, and any information stored by you in this service may be unrecoverable.

7.4 SweetChat does not guarantee that (including but not limited to):

(1) This service will meet your specific requirements;

(2) This service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any products, services, or other materials obtained through this service will meet your expectations;

(3) You assume all risk for any materials obtained through this service. You are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting from such use.

7.5 SweetChat shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages — including loss of profits, business goodwill, or data — arising from the following:

(1) Use or inability to use this service;

(2) Any products, data, or services purchased or obtained through this service;

(3) Unauthorized use or modification of your data, or other matters related to this service.

7.6 Any disputes or losses arising from your authorization of a third party (including third-party applications) to access or use this service shall be borne by you.

7.7 SweetChat will provide services based on the type of service you select. You understand and agree that, based on factors such as user experience, platform security, operational requirements, and healthy development, SweetChat has the right to select the objects of service provision or cooperation, determine the scope of feature availability, data interfaces, and data disclosure, and suspend or terminate this service for users who fall under the following circumstances (including but not limited to):

(1) Violating applicable laws or this Agreement;

(2) Negatively impacting user experience;

(3) Posing security risks;

(4) Violating SweetChat platform operational principles or failing to meet other SweetChat management requirements.

8. Third-Party Software or Technology

8.1 This software may use third-party software or technology (including but not limited to open-source code and public domain code, collectively referred to as "Third-Party Software"), and such use has been properly authorized.

8.2 If this software uses third-party software or technology, SweetChat will, in accordance with relevant laws or agreements, display the applicable license agreements or other documentation — which may take the form of "Software License Agreements," "License Agreements," "Open Source Licenses," or otherwise — as attachments to this Agreement, in designated folders within the software installation package, or through relevant open-source software pages. Such agreements, documentation, and webpages are integral parts of this Agreement and have the same legal effect. You must comply with these requirements. If you fail to do so, the relevant third party or government authorities may take legal action against you, including but not limited to lawsuits, fines, or other sanctions, and may request SweetChat's cooperation. You shall bear all legal liability arising from such non-compliance.

8.3 Any disputes arising from third-party software or technology used in this software shall be resolved by the relevant third party. SweetChat assumes no responsibility. SweetChat does not provide customer support for third-party software or technology. If you need assistance, please contact the relevant third party directly.

9. Miscellaneous

9.1 In response to the development of the internet and changes in applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory documents, or due to business development needs, SweetChat has the right to modify or change the terms of this Agreement. Once the content of this Agreement changes, SweetChat will publish the updated terms directly within the SweetChat app or on the official website. Such publication shall constitute notice to you of the modifications. SweetChat may also use system notifications or private messages to inform you of changes to the terms, service modifications, or other important matters.

9.2 If you do not agree with any modifications made by SweetChat to this Agreement, you have the right and should immediately stop using SweetChat. If you continue to use SweetChat, you will be deemed to have accepted the modified terms. If you do not accept the modified Agreement, you should stop using this software.

9.3 The headings preceding each clause of this Agreement are provided for convenience only and shall not affect the meaning or interpretation of the terms. To protect your own interests, we recommend that you carefully read the specific wording of each clause.

9.4 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and SweetChat regarding the matters covered herein. No other rights are granted to either party beyond those expressly stated in this Agreement.

9.5 If any provision of this Agreement is found to be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

9.6 To the extent permitted by applicable law, the right to interpret this Agreement belongs to SweetChat.
